Paul first became involved in NED/Board work when he was invited to set up a free school in Nottingham. During his time at IBM, Paul was invited to be a NED for Subba Cultcha supporting them with advice on CRM and data driven marketing. As an Executive Coach at IBM, he was invited to be on the board of the European Mentoring and Coaching Council, UK as the Director of Professional Development.
