Summary of key changes to T&Cs (fractional)
These changes will become effective from January 22, 2026
- Renewal options for longer-term subscriptions
We’ve clarified how users with an initial subscription term of more than one year may renew onto a shorter-term subscription, if preferred. - Flexibility to extend program by mutual agreement
The Terms now allow both parties to agree an extension where a user needs additional time to progress through their Pathway Subscription program. - Clearer fee structure and responsibility for fees
We’ve clarified what the fees do and do not cover, and added a right to charge annual fees on a pro-rata monthly basis if a user’s payment method fails. Where relevant, the Terms confirm that payment demands for overdue fees may be enforced against a director participating in the user’s chosen Pathway Subscription. - Conduct requirements
New provisions prohibit discriminatory conduct, with related indemnities to protect Connectd. - Clarifying professional use
The Terms now confirm that services are purchased in a professional capacity and not as a consumer. - Clarification of Connectd’s role
The Terms now clearly state that Connectd operates primarily as a networking platform and is not an employment agency or employment business. Users remain responsible for all legal, tax and regulatory obligations relating to any Non-Executive Director appointments, and will indemnify Connectd against any claims that such appointments create employment, worker or similar status.
These changes will become effective from December 4, 2025
- Updated service descriptions (Schedule 1)
We’ve updated the services included in each subscription tier (including academy details) and removed the legacy legal services, questionnaires, template contracts and legal/accountancy referral options. Each year of a Pathway Subscription now includes 3 hours of mentoring. - New mentor–mentee connection features
The Terms reflect new functionality supporting mentor/mentee interaction, including how session recordings/transcripts may be used and managed by Connectd and users.
